1. Nature of Custom Digital Goods
Because DearGuest creates personalized, custom-made digital wedding invitation websites (tailored specifically to your wedding details, names, photos, and music), these resources are unique to your event and cannot be reused or resold once work has commenced.
Key Rule: Standard cooling-off periods and refund policies for pre-made digital goods do not apply once design work on your invitation has actively started.
2. Order Cancellations & Refunds
We provide a fair refund structure depending on where your invitation is in the design lifecycle:
- Before design work begins: If you request cancellation before our design team starts creating your invitation, you are eligible for a 100% refund (minus transaction/processing fees, if applicable).
- After design starts but before preview delivery: If work has begun but the initial draft preview link has not been sent to you, we offer a partial refund of 50% to cover the designer's time and effort.
- After preview link is delivered: Once we have generated and sent the preview link or finalized the deployment, we cannot offer any refunds.
3. Revisions & Customer Satisfaction
We want you to love your invitation page. To ensure this, our Standard plan includes one (1) full round of revisions. This allows you to request corrections for spelling errors, date updates, map location adjustments, or photo replacements.
Our design team will work within the limits of the selected template to ensure the final layout looks polished and romantic.
4. Technical Issues & SLA
In the rare event of severe technical outages on our server infrastructure that prevent your guests from accessing the invitation website on your wedding day (and we are unable to resolve it promptly), we will perform a review and issue an appropriate compensation or a full refund.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request an order cancellation or a refund, please send a message to our support team on WhatsApp with the following details:
- The names of the couple registered in the order form.
- Your registered phone/WhatsApp number.
- Your receipt of payment and the reason for cancellation.
We review refund requests within 48 business hours and process approved refunds back to your original payment method or an agreed-upon alternative.
